About A Flair for Jewelry

My name is Linda King and I am the owner and creator of A Flair for Jewelry. I have been exposed to many different medias during my lifetime. As a child I remember being fascinated with all the buttons and baubles behind the alley of a dry cleaning store in my neighborhood. My fondness for glitz and glamour and love of fashion followed me into adulthood. In early 1980's I opened Fripperies in Georgetown, Massachusetts, a shop filled with vintage clothing, fabrics, and jewelry and fine accessories. After 15 years in business, I decided that I wanted to help women develop their own personal style.

To that end, I studied and became certified in the business of color analysis. As a color consultant, I helped women and men determine their own best coloring based on their own unique coloring according to their hair, skin, and eye colors.

Once I mastered that, I went on to become a consultant with a jewelry company, helping women learn to accessorize with jewelry according to their personal style. After pursuing those interests I decided that I wanted to help women not only look good but feel good too; so I went on to become a licensed aesthetician specializing in the use of aromatherapy.

Now, my life long love for all finery (whether vintage or new), fashion, style, color and helping women feel good about themselves has evolved into A Flair for Jewelry.

At this time of my life, I have decided to combine all my knowledge and pursue opening up a new business named A Flair for Jewelry.

Because of my love for all finery, whether vintage or new this has culminated into my designing unique one of kind designs.

One of my favorite things to do is helping customers change a piece of jewelry handed down to them that they never wear because it is not their personal style. I will work with you to change that loved and treasured article into a piece of jewelry that will become one of your favorites.

With over twenty years of experience helping women find, develop, and embrace their own unique sense of style, I take great pride in designing one of kind designs.
