Special Orders

A Flair for Jewelry is happy to assist you with customized orders for items of various colors, lengths, or other desired specifications. As part of this service, I offer a variety of redesigns of your favorite jewelry items, modifications that include the lengthening and shortening of your favorite pieces, as well as the addition of new beads. However, I do not offer metal smithing at this time.

Among the many items that I’ve previously redesigned are crystal necklaces, which can be nicely reconfigured into lovely earring sets, bracelets, and anklets. In one such case, a customer refused to wear a necklace due to its unique bead combination. In turn, I replaced the ill-desired beads with new ones, thereby constructing a necklace that matched her specific tastes. On another occasion, I disassembled a customer’s necklace, modified the bead arrangement, and created an additional bracelet out of the original item.

We often hang on to jewelry solely for its sentimental value, yet rarely actually wear it. With a quality redesign, you can maintain the precious sentiment of your favorite jewelry items while providing it with a fresh new look.
